GRP Housings and GRP Enclosures

GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) provides an efficient and durable way to secure and protect valuable equipment from undesirable attention and from the public eye.

At Capvond Composites, we have many years' experience of the design and manufacture of a range of GRP Housings and GRP Enclosures.

These GRP Housing units are available in dry dash, smooth, brick effect and stonecast and are all manufactured in unlimited colours. Sizes can range from 0.25 cubic metres to over 30 cubic metres and manufactured in heat retardant, fire retardant and acid resistant materials when required.

Iain Sanderson established Capvond Composites in 1989 and has seen the company grow into a nationally-respected supplier of a wide variety of products to the manufacturing industry. We are based on the south side of Glasgow in the Darnley Industrial Estate.

The independently run business now employs 10 staff, all of them highly trainined in the production of bespoke plastic products. We design and construct on the premises and we actively encourage all our clients to come along and watch the manufacturing process in action.

Some of the other products we produce include: bespoke mouldings and construction products (walkways, roofing, architectural mouldings, chimneys, reproduction and stonecast mouldings, dormers, lids, canopies, balcony and atrium trays, turrets and bespoke building products), sewerage (scum boards, weir plates, covers, enclosures, safety walkways and shuttering), housings and enclosures, civil engineering (trench liners and lift pit liners), plumbing (cold water storage tanks, gutters and sectional water tanks) and firmgrip walkways and ramps (including mobility ramps and safety walkways).
